From June till January winds are more hardly and we can navigate every day with Kite BOW between 7m and 9m.. The rest of the year winds weaken and lose a little of intensity, but it is possible to navigate with kite of 12 m.. The famous lagoon of Taiba, is ideal for the learning and the freestyle navigation. From part its situation and, its environment (dunes) ,you will find all year round constant winds. Do not forget to carry Lycra and to use solar protection cream, the sun is very strong because of the proximity of the equator line. Winds between 17 and 25 Kt. Surf – Bodybaord - windsurf Considered as one of the best spotlights of waves of Ceará, and probably Brazil. Taiba is world over known for its winds, steady and strong all year round. The wind becomes intensified between August and December. The biggest waves appear between December and January. Competitions of surfing are regularly organized (Brazilian Championship of surfing) In March, 2008 organization of the championship of the North east Brazilian, 1st stage. Whatever if you are an apprentice in waves or expert, Taiba offers you perfect conditions of navigation, with good waves, due to trade winds which blow since the African continent and sun all year long, for the practice of your sport or your leisure. |
